Aula de Estudios Sociales


The Social Studies Classroom (Aula d'Estudis Socials - AES) is a non-profit organization whose goal is the training of professionals, students, children and society in general, in all sorts of social problems, significantly emphasizing the field of people with disabilities.

How can you donate?


Donation


You or your company can donate for the satisfaction of contributing to a good cause.

Your donation will help mantain solid structures for offering services to our members and consolidating a positive public opinion towards our collective.


Patronage

With Patronage, you or your company will give financial support to any of our social, cultural and educative activities and you will receive image benefits, tax cuts and more.

You can support ACCDV's activities in general or participate in a specific area within the range of our activities.

The most adecuate activities for Patronage are:

Personal Services

Basic Rehabilitation
You will financially contribute to hire professionals who will teach the blind or visually impaired person the necessary techniques to thrive in our society, including home, public, work and social areas.

Acompaniment and help to blind and visually impaired people
You will financially contribute to cover expenses of transport, maintenance of our volunteer network and hiring professionals to perform accompaniment tasks.

Psicological A
rea
You will financially contribute to hire professionals specialized in psychological care to prevent the patient from developing mental illnesses derived from their visual disability.

Education
You will financially contribute to supply material necessary to help people who, by their own decision, want to study at any level.



Sponsorship

You will promote your company, products or services by protecting and financially  supporting an ACCDV activity or program.

You can sponsor any of the areas where ACCDV develops its task.

The activities you can sponsorize will be established by the ACCDV with the aproval of its Board of Directors and the conditions of the relationship will be established by signing an agreement between the two parties.

Sponsorship depends on the needs of the sponsor and, for that reason, we suggest the best areas for your sponsorship:


Cultural Services

Socio-cultural Animation Activities
Your sponsorship will help to hire professionals and pay for transport expenses.

Adaptation of cultural material
Your sponsorship will help to produce Audio Books, DVDs and videos with audio-description.

Adaptation of live cultural events
Your sponsorship will help hire the necessary equipment to make live audio-descriptions in theaters, cinemas and the opera.

Adapted visits to museums and monuments
Your sponsorship will help to make adaptation studies, design permanent tours performed by professionals, elaborate movable material for occasional visits and construct models.


Education is also a basic pilar of our activities. Educating about disabilities is basic for social awareness. Our sister organiation, the Social Studies Classroom - Aula de Estudios Sociales (AES) - has trained more than 10,000 people among students, physicians, optometrists and state workers. Its activity is supported by publicitary means to deliver the information to potential students which constitutes an excellent oportunity to run advertising compaigns targeting young people or professionals, boosting the sponsor's image with a formative and socially aware activity.
