Liesure and Culture for Visually Impaired People Project
Blind or Visually Impaired people find a great deal of problems when they try to gain access to leisure or culture. Our Association's purpose is for this collective to enjoy of a wide selection of liesure activities made specially for them.
The Socio-cultural Animation Activities have a high therapeutical value. They are basic to help overcome the initial depressive phase which every person goes through when they must live with a handicap and they also help to prevent reincidence. This is because the person is involved in activities which favor their social integration and stimulate their curiosity towards nature, art and culture, which create an incentive to move forward.
The goal of the adaptation of cultural material is to encourage the taste for reading and allow the access to it by publishing 10 books a year. In addition, we try to make 6 movies a year accessible.
